This isn't a fade with a part in it. It's linework — drawn freehand, adjusted live to the curve of the head, with the same instincts behind the tattoo and scalp work.

Tribal patterns, waves, script and custom graphics. Every design is cut to the individual head, so no two come out identical.

The Procedure

From reference to finished line.

Step 01

Bring a reference

A screenshot, a sketch or just a description of the style you want.

Shaun will tell you what will actually read well at your hair length and density — fine detail needs enough hair to hold it.

Step 02

Mapped to your head

The design gets planned around your growth pattern, cowlicks and the curve of the skull.

Line weight and spacing are set here so the pattern stays balanced from every angle, not just head-on.

Step 03

Cut freehand

Trimmers and a straight razor, drawn live. No stencils, no guides.

The base cut goes in first, then the design on top of it so the contrast reads cleanly.

Keeping it sharp

A design holds crisp for one to two weeks depending on how fast you grow.

Come back for a touch-up and the same pattern can be recut, or swapped for something new.
